As I read this book I realized that the front cover was misleading. I preordered "Unraveling" thinking it was a book about elves as the picture certainly looks like on and the description of the book never indicated otherwise. Getting into the book I realized it was indeed not, but about Beau a"Demon Deliver" who spewed out black liquid when mad and a "Blood Hound" named Vain and many more supporting characters. The blot was hard to sort out because of all the information given that you couldn't understand as it was unfamiliar termiology This book needed a prologue in order to explain the "Gut War," "Supernatural Council," "Underground World," and all the various supernatural characters that were not explained in good detail. It certainly was a twisted blot and kept one intrigued because you wanted to finish reading so you could sort out all the characters and blot twists and get to the end. Hard to do as more characters kept getting introduced toward the end. There were grammatical errors 'aplenty' that also made it hard to read. There was love and sex as Vain and Beau reinforce their "helpmate bond." I finished it and was impressed with the twisted mind of the writers imagination so I gave it 3 stars. (And I really thought it was going to be about elves.)
