The book does not cover how to pick a cruise, it assumes you've made up your mind already about where you want to go. What I found useful were the details about types of rooms, things to book in advance and orientation once on board. An easy, fast, and fun read. Never would have thought of packing hand soap, a lanyard, and/or packing a lunch from the breakfast buffet before a shore excursion! Fantastic. Also didn't know that most ports have cafes and areas with free wifi zones.
My greatest take-away however-- DON'T MISS BOARDING TIMES! Thanks for a very interesting and informative book.
